With the Austin Food and Wine Festival getting underway April 26th, plenty of participating Austin restaurants are ready to wine and dine you throughout the weekend. One of my fave spots, TRACE at the W Austin, will be transforming into a Paris bistro style setting on Saturday the 27th for their Sel et Gras event .
You can party like a Parisian Saturday night as Chef Lawrence Kocurek and Pastry Chef Janina O'Leary prepare bites inspired by the bistros of Paris and libationist Joyce Garrison serves up French-inspired cocktails. Tickets for the Sel et Gras are $75 for general admission and $60 for AF&WF badge holders. The ticket price includes food, beverages, and gratuity throughout the evening. You can call 512.542.3660 to make a reservation or visit www.TRACEAustin.com/seletgras for more information.
Also, new this year, W Austin's Savor package provides an opportunity for out of town guests to experience AF&WF in true VIP fashion. The package includes a VIP suite, two 2-day AF&WF Savor Passes, transportation to the festival and two tickets to TRACE's Sel et Gras event.
