NEW YORK (AP) — A posthumous novel by Michael Hastings, the Rolling Stone journalist killed in a car crash last summer, is coming out next summer.
Blue Rider Press announced Friday that the manuscript for "The Last Magazine," an autobiographical novel about an ambitious magazine intern, was discovered after his death.
Hastings was best known for the 2010 article about Gen. Stanley McChrystal that led to McChrystal's resignation. Just 33 at the time of his death, Hastings wrote three nonfiction books, including "Panic 2012" and "The Operators."
Blue Rider is an imprint of Penguin Group (USA).
