Two Big Wins for CW at People's Choice

Vampire, Supernatural take home trophies

Los Angeles, CA - Wednesday, January 6th marked a great night for The CW's newest drama, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, and veteran sci-fi favorite, SUPERNATURAL at the 36th Annual People's Choice Awards. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES took Favorite New TV Drama, and SUPERNATURAL was voted Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show.

In the People's Choice category for TV sci-fi/fantasy, SUPERNATURAL beat out hit shows: "Heroes," "Lost," and "True Blood." While THE VAMPIRE DIARIES snagged the People's Choice for New TV drama over "Eastwick," "FlashForward," "Mercy," "The Forgotten," "The Good Wife," "Three Rivers," "NCIS: Los Angeles," and "V."

In total, CW Shows and celebrities receive 8 nominations for the 2010 People's Choice Awards. Congratulations to The CW Network and stars!
