Casting call announced for documentary

CWTV.com - The CW Television Network ("CW") is developing a new documentary series about young, productive and high-achieving women. However, beneath all the success are issues that are being kept secret.

Do you have a secret that’s forcing you to live a double life? Do you keep your obsession a secret? We want to know your stories.

Imagine living your picture-perfect life. By day, you are a talented and an ambitious 20-something, but at night, or when you’re alone, everything changes — you become a completely different person. You enjoy the duality and the excitement that accompanies your secret life, but at times it becomes a dangerous game.

Our series will look at the many issues that women struggle with today, including: eating disorders, repressed rage, self-injury, sex addiction, obsession with plastic surgery and the challenges of a shopaholic. Each hour will explore one issue in dramatic depth. The story will be told from your perspective, in your words, as your life.

Our production team has over 20 years of TV experience. We will treat your story with the utmost sensitivity, compassion, dignity and respect. We know the pressures young women are under today. We want to explore how you cope and how you untangle the web of your double life.

With the help of a qualified, highly-credentialed, on-camera therapist, our hope is for you to jump start a dialogue about the issues you confront on a daily basis. Family members or friends may take part in your transformation.

The CW, with Casting Directors, Liz Alderman and Adam Drucker, and Senior Producers, Paul Ryan and Kathleen O’Connell, are looking for young, ambitious and articulate women aged 18 to 30 who are ready to share their secrets.
