MIX: Celebrate Texas Cocktails

What better way to wrap up a great and productive day than with a refreshing cocktail? The time has come to celebrate one of the most fabulous things Texas has to offer and that is Texas crafted liquors! Launch 787 is proud to announce MIX: Celebrate Texas Cocktails on June 17, 2011 from 9:00 p.m. to midnight presented by GOOGLE Places . An evening dedicated to tasty cocktails that will be concocted by master bartenders, Jason Stevens from East Side Show Room and Joe Eifler from The Tipsy Texan at the Mansion (Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs, 2312 San Gabriel). These mixologists will be crafting two cocktails from one of 13 Texas-bred spirits; if you are doing your math correctly you know that this means there will be 26 custom-made drink options. These fellas are not holding back either, there will be a range of sweet, salty, spicy and more for you to sip and smile on! Fresh ingredients will be provided for both bartenders by Whole Foods Market to help invent some of the delectable drinks you’ve ever tasted! The Texas liquors being showcased at MIX are as follows:

A portion of all proceeds raised by MIX will be donated to Austin Involved , Austin’s newest volunteer movement. Tickets for the event are available for $50 until noon on June 17th and then can be purchased for $60 at the door. Cin cin, salud and sip up, friends!
