The Alamo Drafthouse is known for hosting some awesome events (e.g. Big Lebowski Quote-a-Longs, Pop Princess Sing-a-Longs, etc.) and serving up delicious eats! I chatted with the Drafthouse’s Executive Chef, John Bullington , about the tasty tapas that will be available during Pedro Almódovar's newest film, THE SKIN I LIVE IN , opening Friday, November 11th. Chef brought some of the eats in for us to try and to give you fabulous CW-ers a sneak peak at the scrumptious delights. I know you’ll be craving something tasty after watching our interview! Ham and chicken fritters, anyone? Since this is a Spanish themed fest, what would it be without some Spanish wine pairings? Alamo Drafthouse Beverage Director, Bill Norris, has suggested some incredible wines for you to sip on while enjoying Antonio Banderas’ creepiness on screen. ¡Perfecto! To make this event even better, if you purchase advanced tickets for opening weekend of THE SKIN I LIVE IN , you’ll receive free admission into any showing of BAD EDUCATION (another Almódavar film) next weekend at the Alamo South Lamar location. Lucky for you, we are giving away a pair of tickets for opening weekend! Enter now to win tickets from The CW Austin to watch THE SKIN I LIVE IN on Friday November 11th! Good luck!
