"The Runaways" SXSW red carpet

No other SXSW red carpet had more screaming fans than “The Runways.” “The Runways,” with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning is based off the true story of Joan Jett and Cherie Currie. This movie follows the lives of the 1970’s rock duo as they travel on unstable path of stardom.

We got a chance to talk to Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning, Floria Sigismondi (the director) and even Cheri Currie herself about the movie, what it was like making it and how they all worked together to bring this 1970’s legendary story back to life!
