Molly Shannon visits the Texas Book Festival

“I like to kick, stretch and kick!”
This phrase is legendary in my mind. The hilarious Molly Shannon as Sally O’Malley; I’ve tried nearly half my life perfecting my “Sally” voice, pulling up my pants Urkel-style and repeating the quote to anyone that would humor me and listen. I had the opportunity to sit down with Molly Shannon. Ms. Shannon was in town this past weekend to promote her new childrens book, “Tilly the Trickster,” for the Texas Book Festival. Molly visited us at our station and was a complete delight to meet in person. She is so gracious, friendly and endearing. We chatted about the recent addition of author to her resume, how her own children helped with the book and what stories she loves to read.
