Lunchmania; Lunchbox Completes a Marathon and Then Some

Local radio personality Lunchbox of the Bobby Bones Show completed a 27.2 mile run with no prior training. After audio was played of Lunchbox heckling marathon runners, show host Bobby Bones challenged Lunch to run a marathon four days later. With no time to train and little preparation, Lunchbox began his run at 6am, Friday morning.

Approximately 4 and a half hours later, Lunch had not only completed the marathon, but he also ran one mile extra just to show that he could. A large crowd gathered to cheer Lunch on to the finish line, including police officers and an EMS crew. Fans showered lunch in confetti and champagne and sang along to Lunchbox’s victory song “All I Do Is Win” by DJ Khaled. Just goes to show, if you believe you can achieve
