Austin Fashion Week: Lisa Kaminski

Lisa Kaminski is a self-taught designer with a passion for the environment. Growing up in Florida, Kaminski designed her first bikini when she was only 15 years old. As an eco-conscious designer, Kaminski uses reclaimed hardware and various objects found on her trips around the globe to handcraft each bikini.

In order to make sure that each bikini is not only fashionable but also functional, each piece is tested to make sure they are both sand and water ready.  Lisa was recognized for her work in the May 2011 issue of Jacksonville Magazine, which labeled her collection as part of their "Gorgeous Swimwear" picks for the summer.
