Keep Austin Cool Summer Fan Drive 2010

AUSTIN (KNVA) - Record high temperatures are expected to set again this summer. Extreme heat creates a dangerous situation for Central Texans living without air conditioning.

Family Eldercare’s ‘Keep Austin Cool’ Summer Fan Drive is an annual relief effort helping save lives in the Austin area for the past 20 years. Funds raised during the Fan Drive will go to purchase fans and air conditioners for individuals and families who need help to beat the summer heat and to provide other critically-needed services.

August 7th: Fans for Fans Night at Round Rock Express - Bring a fan for the Fan Drive and get two free tickets tot he game! KXAN's Jim Spencer will even be there to throw out the first pitch!
